Step-by-Step Guide to Purchasing
Textbooks Online
                                  
 
Things you will need:
 
 1) Your billing information (including credit/debit card number, address,
    etc.)
 2) Your class schedule from bruindata (be sure the course numbers are
    included)
 
To begin:
 
 1) Go to the bookstore's website on the web at http://www.store.georgefox.edu.
 
 2) Click on the login link located in the top right-hand corner of the
    page to create or log onto your account.
 
 3) If you already have an account, then log in and skip to step #6. If you do 
    not already have an account, then you will need to create one. Click on
    the words “create an account." 
 
 4) Fill out the registration form, including billing information and
    account registration - use your assigned foxmail account.
 
 5) You will be directed to a welcome page where you can view and/or change
    your account information.
 
 6) Click on the "Buy Textbooks" link from the menu at the top of the page
 
 7) Read the information clearly before proceeding to the ordering page,
    and click where it says, "click to continue" to start your textbook order.
 
 8) Select a Campus/Term Combination (i.e. Newberg-Fall 2007).
 
 9) Select a department from the list of options (i.e. Chemistry).
 
 10) Select a course from the list (i.e. 100).
 
 11) Select the appropriate section based on your schedule from the list
    (i.e. section A).
 
 12) A list of selected textbooks (as determined by the professor) will
     appear below.
 
 13) You can select a preference for new or used and the quantity
     of each book, and click the "add selected books to cart" button.
 
 14) Continue steps 8-12 for each class on your schedule, and then once you
     have completed your order you must proceed to your cart to complete the
     transaction.
 
 15) Click “Checkout” and continue to follow onscreen instructions until you
     are issued a receipt and confirmation #.
 
 ALWAYS print your receipt page and take it with you to the bookstore
 at the start of the semester in order to pick up your textbooks.
